Termidor is used on a semi annual basis and is very effective in eradicating ant populations. It is a non-repellant product and is easily transmitted between ants in the social settings of their colonies, making it the best product on the market for eradication of ant colonies. Value-Line and Bifen I/T are used in the months between the Termidor treatments. These products are of a repellant nature and are used to discourage ants and general pest populations from setting up shop on your property. Finally EcoExempt IC-2 is also effective repellant product. It also has the distinction of being an environmentally friendly botanical product. This is the bait section of our toolbox. Baits can be used for a variety of pests in general pest control programs. We find baits to be most effective when used to combat ant, roach and snail problems. While we do have other baits available to us for these and other pests the following are the most commonly used in our box. This is the part of our toolbox used to control flea, tick, roach, and a variety of other inside infestations. Labeled for and commonly used inside, these products are proven to not only control but eliminate interior pests. As a note, EcoExempt is also commonly used in homes and is effective, while mst of the products in our interior treatment category require a 3- 4 hour vacate time EcoExempt requires none. Its mild strengthed rootbeer smell will turn some people off to inside treatments. The following two chemicals are most often used for indoor treatments. They are growth regulators which knock the reproduction rates of insects. This section of products are used in specialty circumstances such as bees, wasps, crickets, silverfish and other types of stinging and crack and crevice insect treatments. Finally, we list our "Rodent" products. These are the rodent baits we use as a reduction method in heavily populated rodent areas. They are always used with a tamper-proof bait station secured to the ground or structure in order to maximize safety. |
